Fresenius Helios

Fresenius Helios is the leading private healthcare provider in Europe serving with around 140 clinics and numerous outpatient facilities about 27 million people annually. Together with Fresenius Kabi, a provider of healthcare products for the critically and chronically ill, Fresenius Helios is part of the Fresenius healthcare group. With its 130,000 employees of the Helios Group in Germany and Quirónsalud in Spain and Latin America, Fresenius Helios generated total sales of more than 13.5 billion euros in 2025.

Helios Germany operates more than 80 hospitals, about 200 outpatient care centers with, six prevention centers and 30 occupational medicine centers. Helios treats approximately 5.6 million patients annually, of whom 4 million are outpatients. Since its beginnings, Helios has focused on measurable, high medical quality as well as data transparency and is better than the German average in more than 90 percent of the quality targets. Quirónsalud has 57 hospitals, including seven in Latin America, around 130 outpatient centers and more than 300 occupational risk prevention centers, and treats approximately 22 million patients annually, of whom 20 million are outpatients. Quirónsalud has about 50,000 employees and generated sales of more than €5.4 billion in 2025.
