Fresenius publishes updated Human Rights Statement
Fresenius has published its updated Human Rights Statement and reaffirms its commitment to respecting human rights across its operations, value chains and business relationships. The statement explains how human rights are addressed throughout the company, including clear responsibilities, risk-based due diligence processes, preventive and remedial measures, and reporting channels for potential misconduct.
As a global healthcare company, Fresenius has a responsibility toward patients, employees, business partners and the communities in which it operates. Respect for human rights is therefore an important principle that guides responsible business conduct across the Group.
The updated statement gives an overview of Fresenius’ approach to human rights and introduces five human rights priority areas. These highlight the topics that are most closely connected to the company's business activities and where impact on people may be most relevant.
