Dr. Gerd Krick and an era of success at Fresenius

Dr. Gerd Krick, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fresenius since 2003, is to be appointed Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting.

Over almost half a century at the company, Dr. Gerd Krick has been the key figure in building Fresenius into a global player in healthcare. During Dr. Krick's 11-year tenure as CEO starting in 1992, and as Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2003, the company has achieved tremendous growth.

Between 1992 and 2020 Fresenius’ sales rose from €793 million to €36.3 billion, operating profit grew from €45 million to €4.6 billion, and the number of employees increased from 7,001 to 311,269.
